Build
Move an idea into a form that can be measured.
About
The common thread is not a particular board or language. It is the process of making electrical, mechanical and software decisions agree with each other.
Working style
I enjoy building systems that sit between disciplines: a camera becomes useful when its power rails, interface, optics and processing pipeline all work; a placement machine improves when calibration, lighting, motion and tooling are treated as one problem.
That usually means moving between a schematic, firmware logs, Python scripts, CAD and a physical prototype until the system is understandable and repeatable.
Move an idea into a form that can be measured.
Use failures to refine the model of the system.
Check assumptions at electrical and physical boundaries.
Keep the next revision simpler and more reliable.
Current work
Project pages omit empty sections and mark active work honestly rather than presenting every experiment as finished.
